The owner Nadia Ribeiro, has been in the clothing business since she was 18 years old.
Born in Brazil, she used to travel from south to north, from east to west coast, representing different manufactures.
She also had owned a wholesale clothing store in Brazil.
Around 1997, she started traveling to the United States, and to bring some clothing brands to distribute here.
Around 2001 she decided to move to Hawaii and built a nice show room in Kaimuki area, where people used to come once a month for some sample sales.
After 2 years she decided to open a little store as an outlet for the show room. It first name was Brazilian Show Room Outlet, two doors down from where it is now.
3 years later she expanded to a place, 4 times bigger.
The Brazilian Show Room is a very unique, authentic, warm, colorful, friendly, happy place. It is full of bamboo, plants on the walls, tiki roofs, Hawaiian mats, water fountains…. which gives the place a very beachy feeling.
Nadia wanted to bring the brazilian`s energy, vibe, warmness to Hawaii. That is one of the things that makes this place very special and authentic.
Another thing, of course is the merchandise sold there. Every single thing is Made in Brazil.
Nadia has her owner bikini brand, called Brazilian Show Room, with a large variety of styles and colors.
She also works strong with two of the best bikini brands from Brazil: Blue Man and Banco de Areia., sold exclusive at the brazilian show room.
Along with the bikinis she carries the world famous Havaianas slippers. Cute clothing and accessories, all hand picked, brought from different places in Brazil.
